Wallet

Software or hardware that stores the keys used to control crypto and sign transactions.

A crypto wallet does not literally hold coins. It holds the private keys that let you control assets recorded on the blockchain and authorize transactions.

A common safety practice for airdrops is to use a fresh, dedicated wallet with little or no funds, so a bad signature cannot drain your main holdings.
