Coin
The native asset of a blockchain, such as ETH on Ethereum or SOL on Solana.
A coin is the base asset of its own blockchain and is used to pay network fees. ETH, BTC, and SOL are coins.
The words coin and token are often used loosely, but the technical difference is whether the asset is native to a chain (coin) or issued on top of one (token).
